Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and functioning of vehicles, conducting thorough inspections, and implementing effective repair solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, such as engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and provide accurate cost estimates for repairs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and manage repair jobs efficiently.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and updates in automotive technology.
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and answering customer inquiries.
  • Keep detailed records of all repairs, services, and maintenance tasks performed.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal automotive training program is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a focus on diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy automotive equipment (up to 50 pounds).
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
  • Physical dexterity and coordination for handling tools and equipment.
